Future Lab Circular Packaging joined the Syschemiq consortium on behalf of KIDV/Verpact. The Syschemiq consortium is an EU-Project where 21 partners from industry, science, education, government and EU networks across the region, work together to close the plastic cycle and speed up the circular economy in Europe.  

FLCP has been asked to map the current presence of aluminium lidding on PP packaging and make a brief overview on the effects of aluminium lids on the sorting and recycling processes. This has been done by executing DKR-324 (PP packaging waste) sorting product analyses on site at two sorters and one recycler.
